STUDY OF SOLUTIONS FOR A FIFTH-ORDER THREE-POINT BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM

Abstract

In this paper, we apply Krasnoselskii's fixed point theorem and the well-known Guo-Krasnoselskii fixed point theorem in cone to prove the existence and the positivity of nontrivial solutions for fifth-order boundary value problems. Two examples are given to illustrate our results.
