Abstract

Animal leather and leather-based products are extensively utilized across numerous industries. Industrial leather goods—such as children's bags, handbags, strollers, and raw leather footwear—occupy a prominent position in the market owing to their aesthetic appeal, biocompatibility, durability, and superior quality. Leather garments produced from bovine and calf hides undergo combined chemical and natural processing treatments to achieve desirable functional properties, including excellent thermal insulation, water resistance, flame retardancy, and elasticity. The application of mathematical modeling to leather processing technologies enables the precise determination and optimization of key technological parameters, thereby enhancing process efficiency and product performance.
