SELF-SERVICE ANALYTICS PORTALS FOR REAL-TIME PARTNER REVENUE TRANSPARENCY
Main Article Content
Abstract
Digital platform partner ecosystems are increasingly seeking timely, explainable, and auditable revenue reporting to diminish conflict, build trust, and enable quicker operations to do with money. Self-service analytics portal has been an interaction layer of choice where partners can access real-time dashboards, drill-down explanations and evidence downloads to support revenue attribution. Non-trivial problems however arise with the delivery of revenue transparency in near real-time: imconsistent metric definitions, fragmented event trails between systems, delayed corrections (refunds/chargebacks), governance and privacy limitations and partners misinterpreting/gaming metrics. This literature review is based on peer-reviewed studies in the domain of self-service analytics, platform ecosystem governance, real-time stream processing, metadata/provenance, and data governance and suggests a reference architecture and a conceptual model of partner revenue transparency portal. The proposals of standardizing revenue measurements and incorporating provenance-aware exploration, scaling controlled self-service, and striking a balance between transparency and strategic and regulatory limitations are introduced.
