INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND SUSTAINABLE: A LITERATURE REVIEW AND BIBLIOMETRICS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The aim of this study was to analyze the theoretical and practical convergence between international trade and sustainability. The study employed a systematic review following the PRISMA protocol, complemented by a bibliometric analysis and scientific mapping using databases such as Scopus and Web of Science. The results reveal a paradigm shift in which sustainability is consolidating as a strategic imperative, highlighting three key dimensions, namely: macroeconomic regulation, corporate governance, and supply chains within circular economies. The study concludes that a synergistic relationship exists between these two fields, indicating that competitiveness in modern markets depends on the integration of socio-environmental innovations, thereby establishing new avenues for research on performance metrics in emerging economies.
