MATHEMATICS AS A COMPUTATIONAL TOOL IN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE: SURVEY PAPER

Abstract

In this paper we present a case study on the role of mathematics as a computational tool in AI, emphasizing neural networks. We have highlighted how mathematical frameworks transform theoretical models into practical algorithms, for example, in drug discovery. We also study the data representation with linear algebra, optimization using calculus, probabilistic modelling and mathematical operation.
