Abstract
A correct diagnosis is the foremost step in receiving quality medical care. Vast information provided by medical imaging technology presents the interpreting physician with problems and probability. Diagnosis is a complex process that combines technical tools, patient history, practical reasoning, and the collective expertise in the field to interpret and connect the results of a specific examination procedure. Although it is challenging to design a completely computerized system for processing data on this variability, there are some situations in which a computerized system could provide helpful diagnostic assistance. Computer-aided systems are excellent at managing vast amounts of data and completing complex, time-consuming tasks quickly. Thus, the integration of a digital system and a human interpreter improves.
