Abstract

The best performing and repairable systems are required in almost everywhere in the industry and organizations. This paper analyses a two-subsystem series system’s performance. A k-out-of-n:G system, Subsystem 1, is composed of n identical units exhibiting exponentially distributed failure rates and employing both general and copula repair methods. With six identical units, subsystem-2 (the second subsystem) uses a 3-out-of-6: G work policy. A human runs the system, and human error will break it.  Stochastic theory facilitates the derivation of differential equations aimed at exposure vital reliability characteristics. These visual aids facilitate comprehensive analysis, allowing engineers and analysts to predict performance trends and identify potential areas of concern or improvement.
