Abstract

Spatial skills are essential in engineering but are often neglected in curricula. The lack of training in geometry or technical drawing makes it difficult for students to understand three-dimensional concepts, affecting their performance in courses such as Dynamics. This research employed a mixed-methods approach with a quasi-experimental design and pre- and post-intervention measurements. The results show that spatial reasoning in engineering improves through technology-assisted instruction combining drawing, modeling, and visualization, strengthening comprehension and engagement. The study supports experiential learning and promotes greater emphasis on spatial training in engineering education.
