Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores the integration of corporate strategy and financial decision-making through the lens of Strategic Financial Management, emphasising its role in enhancing long-term organisational value and competitiveness. The purpose is to develop a conceptual framework that demonstrates how aligning financial policies with strategic intent strengthens decision-making, governance, and adaptability in complex business environments. The research adopts a conceptual and theoretical design, synthesising insights from strategy, finance, and governance literature to build a unified model linking strategic intent, financial flexibility, governance quality, and performance outcomes. The analysis reveals that effective integration between strategy and finance enables firms to optimise capital allocation, manage risks, and sustain innovation-driven growth. Strategic alignment ensures that financial decisions reinforce corporate goals, while governance mechanisms maintain accountability and stakeholder trust. The study highlights that organisations achieving harmony between strategic vision and financial execution exhibit greater resilience and long-term profitability. The findings contribute to both theoretical and managerial understanding by positioning financial management as a strategic function central to value creation. Practically, the study provides guidance for executives and policymakers to institutionalise integrated financial-strategic frameworks that promote sustainable performance, transparent governance, and responsible leadership in an evolving global economy.
